Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Meehan Phil.
Sheza Dragon was quick to begin. Our Karzon was slow to begin. Meehan Phil and Voluptuous Dot collided soon after the start checking Voluptuous Dot. Madarh contacted the running rail approaching the first turn. Trinity Kid, Sheza Dragon and Shrek's Capri collided on the first turn checking Sheza Dragon. Sheza Dragon galloped on Shrek's Capri on the first turn checking Shrek's Capri and severely checking Sheza Dragon, Apila Cash and Voluptuous Dot, Voluptuous Dot fell as a result. Our Karzon was checked off Meehan Phil approaching the home turn.
Madarh was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained superficial abrasions to the left hind leg, no stand down period was imposed.
Voluptuous Dot was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
