Steward's Report
Bera Na Liva and Zambora Jagger were slow to begin. Raging Inferno, Fairy Where, Elswyk Max, Dr. Murtle and Stately Kay collided on the first turn checking Stately Kay, Raging Inferno and Fairy Where and severely checking Bera Na Liva and Elswyk Max, Elswyk Max fell as a result. Fairy Where and Stately Kay collided on the second turn severely checking Fairy Where. Fairy Where crossed out approaching the home turn causing Stately Kay to race wide. Raging Inferno crossed out approaching the home turn.
Elswyk Max was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle and right shoulder muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Fairy Where was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
After viewing the head on footage in the back straight Stewards took into consideration the severe interference suffered by Fairy Where just prior to the greyhound cossing out approaching the home turn and issued a warning to trainer Mr. T. Proctor regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn.
