Stewards spoke to Mr. W. McMahon the representative for Dr. Georgie regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Dr. Georgie last raced on 11/08/17.  Mr. McMahon stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a spell.

Liberty Sage and Flashing Oaks were quick to begin.  Black Shirley was slow to begin.  Little Freck crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Dr. Georgie.  Liberty Sage and Flashing Oaks collided on the first turn.  Little Freck was checked off Vapouriser on the second turn.  Little Freck was checked off Black Shirley approaching the home turn and crossed out causing Remo Gully and Dr. Georgie to race wide.  Dr. Georgie was checked off Remo Gully approaching the home turn.  Vapouriser marred Liberty Sage approaching the home turn severely checking Vapouriser and Flashing Oaks.  Dr. Georgie raced wide approaching the home turn. Vapouriser marred Flashing Oaks entering the home straight.  

Vapouriser was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Conway the trainer of the greyhound Vapouriser regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn and entering the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Vapouriser with marring.  Mr. Conway peaded guilty to the charge, Vapouriser was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Quirky and Penny Black were slow to begin.  Brindle Ninja and Cheeky Cindy collided on the first turn checking Brindle Ninja.  Parvati Grange and Mt. View Gift collided on the first turn checking Billy Clover, Parvati Grange and Quirky.  Quirky galloped on Parvati Grange on the first turn checking both greyhounds causing both greyhounds to race wide.  Mt. View Gift and Billy Clover collided approaching the home turn.  Billy Clover and Penny Black collided on the home turn.  Parvati Grange raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.  Mt. View Gift and Penny Black collided in the home straight.

Valkyrie Rose and Shamus Mac collided approaching the first turn checking Shamus Mac.  Paisley and Boom Flash collided on the first turn checking Paisley.  Paisley was checked off Miss Oreo Mac on the second turn checking Remo Maggie.  Shamus Mac raced wide in the home straight.

 Mr. M. Giddings the trainer of Valdar Bale declared a new weight of 34.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Valdar Bale last raced at 33.1kg.

Pursuant to GAR 104(6) Yard Attendant Mrs. E. Delios did not act in any official capacity for this event.

Ends Well was slow to begin.  Bossino crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Holyfield and Ends Well and severely checking Explosive Sky.  Valdar Bale and Goorawin collided entering the back straight checking Bandit's Girls.  Goorawin clipped the heels of Holyfield on the second turn causing Holyfield to cross to the outside, Goorawin and Bandit's Girls raced wide as a result.  Bandit's Girls and Holyfield collided entering the back straight.

Bera Na Liva and Zambora Jagger were slow to begin.  Raging Inferno, Fairy Where, Elswyk Max, Dr. Murtle and Stately Kay collided on the first turn checking Stately Kay, Raging Inferno and Fairy Where and severely checking Bera Na Liva and Elswyk Max, Elswyk Max fell as a result.  Fairy Where and Stately Kay collided on the second turn severely checking Fairy Where.  Fairy Where crossed out approaching the home turn causing Stately Kay to race wide.  Raging Inferno crossed out approaching the home turn.

Elswyk Max was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle and right shoulder muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Fairy Where was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

After viewing the head on footage in the back straight Stewards took into consideration the severe interference suffered by Fairy Where just prior to the greyhound cossing out approaching the home turn and issued a warning to trainer Mr. T. Proctor regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn.

Zipping Tina was quick to begin.  Dr. Toretto was slow to begin.  Zipping Tina, Artistic Alyssa and Dr. Flannigan collided entering the back straight checking all three greyhounds.  Zipping Tina was checked off Cruella Deville on the second turn checking Artistic Alyssa and Marvellous Midge.

Akina Dee Jay and Spring Ace were slow to begin.  Another Shiner went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  My Miss Molly and Gestalt Allen collided soon after the start.  Lochinvar Rox and Mr. Pendles collided approaching the first turn.  Akina Dee Jay, Gestalt Allen, Lochinvar Rox and Mr. Pendles collided on the first turn severely checking Spring Ace and Lochinvar Rox.  Gestalt Allen was checked off Mr. Pendles on the third turn.  Another Shiner and Akina Dee Jay collided approaching the home turn.

Mr. B. Divirgilio the trainer of Fabulous Show declared a new weight of 28.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Fabulous Show last raced at 27.7kg.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Lowe the trainer of Ollie Agira regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Ollie Agira last raced on 31/07/17.  Mr. Lowe stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a left hock injury.

Parie Shiraz was slow to begin.  Fabulous Show and Paua Te Kuri collided on the first turn.  Folding Green was checked off Wolfie's Sook entering the back straight.  Ollie Agira faltered approaching the second turn and tailed off.

Ollie Agira was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right back muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Folding Green was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a split webbing/toe, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Pistol, Gotta Rush, Daisy Patch and Johnny Wolf were slow to begin.  Johnny Wolf and So Far Away collided soon after the start checking Johnny Wolf.  Simbarea and Gotta Rush collided approaching the first turn.  Pistol and Black Bindi collided on the first turn checking Black Bindi.  Gotta Rush was checked off Daisy Patch in the home straight.

Dr. Bodacious and Dr. Simon were slow to begin.  Eduardo Rose, Heavy Pockets and Peter's Pride collided on the first turn checking Heavy Pockets, Peter's Pride and About To Cry.  Dr. Bodacious galloped on Zafonic Express on the first turn checking Zafonic Express and severely checking Dr. Bodacious which fell as a result checking Dr. Simon.  Heavy Pockets and Zafonic Express collided in the home straight.
