Steward's Report
The Track Curator advised Stewards that the track was graded on Wednesday 19th July 2017.
Cordite Alert was slow to begin. Fast Trapper was quick to begin. Spring Baker and Secret Chord collided approaching the first turn, checking Secret Chord. Too Far Out checked off Zephyric approaching the first turn. Cordite Alert checked off Too Far Out approaching the home turn.
A sample was taken from Zipping Megan - the winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to Lure Driver, Mr S Vick after viewing footage of the race start. Mr. Vick stated that there was a problem with the starting of the lure, which resulted in the run up time being longer then normal. Stewards were satisified that no greyhound was disadvantaged and the all clear was given. The Lure was then tested before the start of race two.
