Baggy's Request was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right elbow and left monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Jetyra Eruption was slow to begin.  Buckle Up Scotch was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Ends Well, Lektra Magic, Goodnight Irene and Trey Bit collided soon after the start checking Lektra Magic, Goodnight Irene and Trey Bit.  Nimble Lucy crossed to the outside approaching the first turn and checked off Rahni.  Jetyra Eruption and Buckle Up Scotch collided on the first turn checking Jetyra Eruption and Goodnight Irene and severley checking Buckle Up Scotch.  Buckle Up Scotch was checked off Jetyra Eruption entering the home straight.  Rahni and Nimble Lucy collided in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Hughes, the trainer of Two Dollar Pots regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Two Dollar Pots last raced on 16 March 2017 and is returning after a right back muscle injury.  Mr. Hughes declared a new weight of 33.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Two Dollar Pots last raced at 31.6kg.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. D. Selleck the trainer of the greyhound Juggernaut Train regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn and again approaching the home turn.  Juggernaut Train was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right and left sesamoid, right monkey muscle and right shoulder, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1) Stewards charged Juggernaut Train with failing to pursue the lure with due commtiment by reason of injury.  Mrs. Selleck pleaded guilty to the charge, Juggernaut Train was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Weekend Binge was checked off Skibbo approaching the first turn.  Dr. Sherlock, Unbackable and Off The Hip collided on the first turn checking Unbackable and severely checking Off The Hip and Weekend Binge.  New Level and Unbackable collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Unbackable and Off The Hip collided approaching the home turn.

Satisfactory trial results:-

Wicked Hillary trialled over 400 metres from box 8, weight 27.7kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 23.42 secs, the greyhound won by a margin of .75 lengths.  Wicked Hillary was cleared.

Tory's Rocket trialled over 400 metres from box 1, weight 25.4kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 23.42 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 11.75 lengths (turned in the boxes and was very slow to begin 7.5 lengths).  Tory's Rocket was not cleared.
