Cheeky Alouette and Sheeza Euphoria collided soon after the start. Sheeza Euphoria and No More Express collided approaching the first turn. Spitfire Shiraz, Modern Silk, Sheeza Euphoria and No More Express collided on the first turn checking Spitfire Shiraz and No More Express causing Walkaway Again and Sheeza Euphoria to fall as a result. Spitfire Shiraz checked off No More Express approaching the home turn.
Sheeza Euphoria was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
