Vanderworp was quick to begin.
Peter Galo and Aston Duke collided approaching the first turn checking Peter Galo. Bernado checked off Aston Duke on the home turn. Peter Galo raced wide in the home straight.
Stewards noted that the muzzle of Aston Duke became dislodged during the running of the event.
Peter Galo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained left shin soreness and a left wrist injury. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.
