Sisco Dun was a late scratching at 1:37 pm - Steward Non Penalty (transport).

Nimble Foot was slow to begin. New Apollo, Haddi Bale and Zipping Quinsee collided on the first turn, checking all three greyhounds. New Apollo checked off Zipping Quinsee approaching the home turn. Haddi Bale checked off Zipping Quinsee on the home turn. Leave Me Out failed to pursue the lure with due committment in the home straight and collided with Eaglehawk Miss and Nimble Foot; checking all three greyhounds.
Stewards spoke to Mr Donald Jarvis, the trainer of the greyhound Leave Me Out regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Leave Me Out was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the left hindleg paw and a cervico-thoracic injury, a five day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Leave Me Out with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Jarvis pleaded guilty to the charge, Leave Me Out was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
