Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Starter, Mr Rob LeSueur did not act in any official capacity for this event.

Quartz Vein shifted in soon after the start, checking Another Bling and Quartz Vein, severely checking Tao Tao, Happy Tails and Destini Cavalier. Tao Tao and Happy Tails collided approaching the fourth turn.

Tao Tao was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hindleg pencil/whip injury and abrasions to the right hind and forelegs, a five day stand down period was imposed.
