Terry the representative for Rockin' Rico regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Rockin' Rico last raced on 12/03/18.  Ms. Terry stated the greyhound was returning to racing following an injured right back muscle.  Ms. Terry declared a new weight of 33.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Rockin' Rico last raced at 35.0kg.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Brandon Mackie the representative for Miles Per Gallon regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Miles Per Gallon last raced on 20/02/18.  Mr. Mackie stated the greyhound was returning to racing following a change of kennel.  Mr. Mackie declared a new weight of 30.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Miles Per Gallon last raced at 31.7kg.

Fleet Trades was quick to begin.  Fleet Trades, Enzo, Ava's Dream and Sooky Jooky collided approaching the first turn checking Sooky Jooky and severely checking Ava's Dream which stumbled .  Shanlyn Magic and Ava's Dream collided on the first turn, Ava's Dream subsequently pulled up.  Fleet Trades and Enzo collided entering the home straight.  Premier Jess and Sooky Jooky collided in the home straight.

Ava's Dream was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right stopper bone, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Thorneycroft the trainer of Shy Freddie regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Shy Freddie last raced on 07/02/18.  Mr. Thorneycroft stated the greyhound was returning to racing following an injured right back muscle.

Shy Freddie and Knew It were slow to begin.  Supa Shalala was checked off Dyna Winter approaching the first turn.  Woodleigh Blaze and Knew It collided in the home straight checking Krypto Jam.  Supa Shalala marred Shy Freddie in the home straight checking Shy Freddie.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Kelly the trainer of the greyhound Supa Shalala regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Supa Shalala with marring.  Mr. Kelly pleaded not guilty to the charge, Supa Shalala was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant ot GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
