Summer Kate and Dr. Paulina collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Gnocchi checked off On The Rebound on the first turn. On The Rebound and Lektra Miss collided on the first turn checking On The Rebound. Lektra Miss and Galloping Ashley collided on the first turn checking Galloping Ashley. Gnocchi and Lektra Miss collided approaching the home turn. Galloping Ashley and Dr. Paulina collided entering the home straight. Gnocchi, Summer Kate and Dr. Paulina raced wide in the home straight.
A post-race sample was taken from Dr. Jezabel - winner of the event.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Happy Allen trialled over the 400mtrs from box 2, weight 25.5kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.32, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4 lengths. Happy Allen was Not Cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mrs Margaret Campbell, the trainer of Gypsy Marlow regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Gypsy Marlow last raced on 20 November 2017 and is returning from a left front sesamoid and metatarsal injuries. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Gypsy Marlow trialled over the 400mtrs from box 3, weight 25.3kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4.
