Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mrs J Imlach, the trainer of Crystal Shell regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Crystal Shell last raced on 14th February 2018. Mrs Imlach stated that the greyhound was seasonal.
Stewards noted a slight problem with the track timer sensors due to the adverse weather conditions, first and second split times were affected.

Tinker Ben was slow to begin. Reality Sail and Miss Chelsea collided soon after the start, checking Miss Chelsea. Reality Sail and Miss Chelsea collided on the first turn, checking Reality Sail. Crystal Shell and Good One Carl collided on the first turn, checking Good One Carl and Tinker Ben. Crystal Shell and Good One Carl collided approaching the home turn, checking Good One Carl. Miss Chelsea and Good One Carl collided on the home turn, checking Reality Sail, Miss Chelsea, Good One Carl and Tinker Ben. Reality Sail and Good One Carl collided entering the home straight, checking Good One Carl.
Reality Sail was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hock, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
