Becket, Latissimus Dorsi and Mr. Delahoya collided soon after the start. Storm Train checked off See Ya Mate soon after the start. Storm Train and St. Pauli collided approaching the first turn, checking St. Pauli. Becket, Mr. Delahoya and Paid Too Much collided on the first turn, checking Paid Too Much, Latissimus Dorsi and Storm Train. Flashing Lights and See Ya Mate collided on the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Becket and Mr. Delahoya collided in the home straight.
Storm Train was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.
