Ria Listic Ria was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right foreleg radius/ulna fracture, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Dewana No Secret was vetted following the event, after the greyhound fell soon after the winning post.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained left foreleg monkey and left hindleg triangle muscle injuries, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards noted that Falling In Love eased on the first turn.  After viewing all available video footage, Stewards were not comfortably satisfied that a failing to chase charge was appropriate on this occasion due to the incident that occured at that time and the fallen greyhound. 

Stewards issued a warning to Mr Aaron Farley, the trainer of Falling In Love, regarding the greyhound's manners after the winning post.  Mr Farley was advised that the greyhound will be closely monitored for aggressive behaviour toward other greyhounds in future events. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Darren Archer, the trainer of Kiomara, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Kiomara last raced on 5 Janurary 2018 and is returning to racing after being on season.

Invictus Tilly was slow to begin.  Kiomara and Invictus Tilly collided soon after the start.  Louisville Lip and Reiko Rocketta collided soon after the start and again on the first turn.  Evil Shadow and Invictus Tilly collided on the first turn.  Louisville Lip and Evil Shadow collided on the second turn.  Louisville Lip, Evil Shadow and Invictus Tilly collided on the third turn, checking Invictus Tilly.  Invictus Tilly clipped the heels of Evil Shadow on the third turn, checking Evil Shadow.

Vandagambo was slow to begin.  Shargre went up with the lids and was very slow to begin (4L).  Croucher and Owlette collided on the first turn.  Croucher clipped the heels of Celestial Jewel approaching the second turn.  Celestial Jewel checked off I'm The Poppet in the back straight.  Vandagambo and I'm The Poppet collided approaching the winning post.

Shargre was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Ms Sharon Neocleous, the trainer of the greyhound Shargre.  Stewards deemed the performance of Shargre unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Shargre must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
