Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Kyle Goodwin, the handler of Strength To Wyn, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Strength To Wyn last raced on 2 March 2018. Mr Goodwin stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a spell.
Peter Galo was slow to begin. Strength To Wyn, Grand Devinci, Mepunga Pride and Laurentide Ice collided soon after the start, checking Grand Devinci and Mepunga Pride. Peter Galo checked off Super Tokachi approaching the first turn. Laurentide Ice and Super Tokachi collided on the first turn. Mepunga Pride checked off Super Tokachi on the first turn, causing Peter Galo to race wide. Grand Devinci checked off Laurentide Ice on the second turn. Mepunga Pride raced wide in the back straight. Laurentide Ice checked off Super Tokachi on the third turn.
Peter Galo was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
