Prince Mikado, Bugs Boloney and Fred Dagg were slow to begin. Zebo Bale and Aston Veloci collided soon after the start. Bugs Boloney and Keep Talking collided several times from approaching the 300m mark until the 300m mark, checking Keep Talking. Zebo Bale checked off Aston Veloci approaching the 300m mark. South Of Eden and Aston Veloci collided several times from the 150m mark until the 100m mark. Fred Dagg and Sly Shiraz collided approaching the winning post.
