Masquerading was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

A sample was take from Scooby Scooby Do - the winner of the event. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. Shane Jack, the trainer of Double Sensation regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Double Sensation last raced on 24th January 2018. Mr. Jack stated that the greyhound was new to the kennel.

This race was delayed due to a power failure, and started at the amended time of 7:48pm.

Sharp Spur was slow to begin. Brindle Delight, Sweet Gabriella and Dyna Cadet collided soon after the start. Sweet Gabriella and Dyna Cadet collided approaching the first turn, checking Dyna Cadet. This race was delayed slightly when the handler of Von Magic lost his footing, he then regained his footing and boxed the greyhound. 

Tooka Half, Roland View and Joyous were slow to begin. Kouta And Cream and Von Magic collided on the first turn. Von Magic clipped the heels of  Kouta And Cream approaching the home turn, severely checking Von Magic, which stumbled, checking Joyous as a result. 

Von Magic was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shin, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

My Alibi was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the right hock, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
