Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Grant Hammerstein, the trainer of Starbright Kate regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Starbright Kate last raced on 12 February 2018 and returning from a seasonal spell.
Mr Shane Schembri, trainer of Amaroo Gonzales declared a new weight of 35.7kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Amaroo Gonzales last raced at 37.2kgs.
A pre-race sample was taken from Paws And Go.
On The Rebound was quick to begin. Royal Bruno was slow to begin.
Amaroo Gonzales and Starbright Kate collided soon after the start. Paws And Go and Early King collided on the first turn checking Paws And Go. Adala Prince checked off Starbright Kate entering the home straight.
