Maireana was a late scratching at 11:40am on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to an infection to the left hind foot. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Okay Pumpkin was quick to begin.  Brandeen Fi, Shrek's Rusty and Timeless Rose were slow to begin.

Bowon Approach and Timeless Rose collided approaching the first turn checking Timeless Rose.  Acquire and Bowon Approach collided on the first turn checking Bowon Approach.  Shrek's Typhoon and Brandeen Fi collided on the first turn checking Brandeen Fi and severely checking Shrek's Rusty and Bowon Approach.  Brandeen Fi and Timeless Rose collided approaching the home turn.  Acquire raced wide in the home straight.

Machiko was quick to begin.

Thank Me Later, Rebel Lad, Totally Fab and Machiko collided soon after the start checking Totally Fab.  Totally Fab, Machiko and Three Scoops collided approaching the first turn checking Totally Fab and Machiko.  Miz Josie and Joyce's Choice collided on the first turn.  Three Scoops checked off Thank Me Later entering the home straight.  Miz Josie eased approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr Gregory Tatt, the trainer of the greyhound Miz Josie regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Miz Josie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Miz Josie with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Tatt pleaded guilty to the charge, Miz Josie was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Rebel Lad was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left triangle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Ian Anderson the trainer regarding the direction that the greyhound Joyce's Choice be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

Mr Peter Schofield was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration papers/registration card were produced for the greyhound Jaggered Stone pursuant to GAR 33.

Ballistic Gem, Ghostly Terrah, News print and Fairly Legal were slow to begin.  Weeona Wilbur was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Ghostly Terrah and News Print collided soon after the start.  Weeona Wilbur checked off Ghostly Terrah on the first turn checking Weeona Wilbur and severely checking News Print and Fairly Legal.  Ghostly Terrah raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr Gregory Minne, the representative of Permafrost regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Permafrost last raced on 24 February 2018 and is returning from a left stopper injury.

Mizuki was quick to begin.  Galaxy Star was slow to begin.

Milly's Choice checked off Vane Power approaching the first turn.  Good Odds Ava and Vane Power collided approaching the first turn.  Mizuki checked off Permafrost on the first turn, Mizuki lost ground as a result.  Permafrost faltered approaching the home turn and tailed off. Good Odds Ava checked off Galaxy Star in the home straight.  Milly's Choice and Emilia Mel raced wide in the home straight.

Permafrost was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Goods Odds Ava was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right front torn nail, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Power Gem was slow to begin.

Joanie's Johnny, Red Queen and Betwixt collided soon after the start.  Farfalla Nera and Lucy Gem collided approaching the first turn.  Lucy gem and Hurricane Craig collided on the first turn.  Farfalla Nera and Red Queen collided approaching the home turn.  Aston Ciobo and Lucy Gem collided on the home turn.

This event was delayed by approximately 3mins due to the Veterinary attending to greyhound from a previous race.

Mega Secret was quick to begin.  Scooby Boy, Azza and Premier Jess were slow to begin.

Weeona Annie and Scooby Boy collided on the first turn checking Weeona Annie.  Weeona Annie checked off Azza entering the home straight.  Lektra Damage and Scooby Boy collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr Grant Hammerstein, the trainer of Starbright Kate regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Starbright Kate last raced on 12 February 2018 and returning from a seasonal spell.

Mr Shane Schembri, trainer of Amaroo Gonzales declared a new weight of 35.7kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Amaroo Gonzales last raced at 37.2kgs.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Screaming Oaks trialled over the 400mtrs from box 3, weight 27.3kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.90, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1/2 length. Screaming Oaks was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Kokoda Bobby trialled over the 400mtrs from box 8, weight 30.4kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.90, the greyhound won by a margin of 1/2 length. Kokoda Bobby was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mrs C. McMillian, the trainer of Oh Nikita regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Oh Nikita last raced on 10 September 2017 and is returning from a change of kennels.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Oh Nikita trialled over the 400mtrs from box 2, weight 29.0kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.90, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7 lengths. Oh Nikita was Cleared.

Satisfactory Weight Trial (Solo) - Woody's My Name trialled over the 400mtrs from box 1, weight 30.2kgs. The time of the trial was 23:10, Woody's My Name was Cleared.
