Missy Tara was vetted following the event, and after being re-vetted following event 4, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. I. Anderson, the trainer of the greyhound Missy Tara.  Stewards deemed the performance of Missy Tara unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Missy Tara must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. F. Bickerton, the handler of Missy Tara and reminded him of his responsibilities in that he placed the incorrect rug on the greyhound when preparing it for racing, pursuant to GAR 41(1)(b).

Saldana (Weight Trial) trialled over the 311 metre distance from box 2, weight 26.1kgs.  The greyhound was placed 2nd, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 17.98.  The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.25 lengths.  Saldana was cleared.

Gotham Queen (Welping trial) trialled over the 311 metre distance from box 4, weight 28.5kgs.  The greyhound was placed 1st, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 17.98.  The greyhound won by a margin of 1.25 lengths.  Gotham Queen was cleared.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Toner, the representative if He's Ma Bro regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  He's Ma Bro last raced on 20th October 2017.  Mr. Toner stated that the greyhound was returning to race after a spell.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, He's Ma Bro trialled over the 311 metre distance from box 8, weight 35.5kgs.  The greyhound was placed 3rd, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 17.98.  The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 9.25 lengths.  He's Ma Bro was cleared.
