Steward's Report
Stealthy Flight and Happy Cruising were quick to begin. Missy Tara was slow to begin. Stealthy Flight, Blunderbuss and Happy Cruising collided on the first turn. Missy Tara raced wide on the first turn. I'll Swap Ya checked off Aeroplane Bella on the first turn. Shotgun Shiloh checked off Happy Cruising approaching the home turn. Missy Tara lost ground approaching the home turn. Stealthy Flight and Happy Cruising collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.
Missy Tara was vetted following the event, and after being re-vetted following event 4, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. I. Anderson, the trainer of the greyhound Missy Tara. Stewards deemed the performance of Missy Tara unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Missy Tara must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards spoke to Mr. F. Bickerton, the handler of Missy Tara and reminded him of his responsibilities in that he placed the incorrect rug on the greyhound when preparing it for racing, pursuant to GAR 41(1)(b).
