The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Pattaya Paul and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 6.39pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Elizabeth Lloyd was fined the sum of $100.
Charity Wish was slow to begin. Loch Monster and Loch Tight collided soon after the start checking Loch Monster. Dodge An' Steele and Dyna Terror collided on the second turn checking Dodge An' Steele. Dodge An' Steele checked off Mepunga Bella entering the back straight checking Skyes Apprentice. Dyna Terror and Mepunga Bella collided on the home turn.
