Tail Inspector was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Mr. Carrodus-Nagy declined to option to have the greyhound re-vetted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Carrodus-Nagy, the trainer of the greyhound Tail Inspector regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the back straight.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Tail Inspector with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Carrodus-Nagy pleaded guilty to the charge, Tail Inspector was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mt. T. Whitford, the trainer of Aston Charlee regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Aston Charlee last raced on 1st February, 2018.  Mr. Whitford stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a change of kennel and a spell.

Mr. I. Anderson, trainer of Dark Stealth declared a new weight of 27.2kgs for the geyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Dark Stealth last raced at 28.3kgs.

Ashton Charlee was quick to begin.  Blue Bar Pie, Happy Cruising and Dr. Chella collided soon after the start.  Roger's Boy and Wolowizard collided entering the back straight causing Wolowizard to fall; Dark Stealth stumbled as a result.  Dr. Chella and Ashton Charlee collided on the second turn; Ashton Charlee raced wide as a result.  Blue Bar Pie and Happy Cruising collided entering the home straight.  Goldie's Nugget, Happy Cruising and Blue Bar Pie collided entering the home straight checking Happy Cruising.  Goldie's Nugget and Dr. Chella collided entering the home straight checking Dr. Chella.

Wolowizard was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left and right pencil muscle injury, a 7 day stnd down period was imposed.

View Gift, Ann Cherie and Macalister Tiger collided soon after the start; Macalister Tiger stumbled as a result.  Mt. View Gift and Macalister Mac collided on the first turn.  Ann Cherie checked off Eden Monaro on the first turn.  Macalister Mac and Power Gem collided on the second turn.  Galloping Rokyto and Power Gem collided on the home turn.

Eden Monaro was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Barber the representative of the greyhound Yogi Mikado regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the back straight.  Yogi Mikado was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right pectoral muscle injury and a left and right pencil muscle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Yogi Mikado with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms. Barber pleaded guilty to the charge, Yogi Mikado was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfctory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination  will be accepted.

Aremac Igor was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Red Queen was a late scratching at 14:26 after it was established that the incorrect greyhound had been presented for this event.

Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Cortese representative/handler regarding the late scratching of Red Queen in this event and subsequently charged Mr. T. Cortese with a breach of GAR 31 (1) in that he failed to present the correct greyhound to stewards at kennelling for this event.  Mr. Cortese pleaded not guilty to the charge.  Mr. Cortese was found guilty and issued with a $250 fine.

Mr. Gregory Graham, trainer of Woodleigh Sal declared a new weight of 26.1kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Woodleigh Sal last raced at 27.2kgs.

Viewing was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound was found to have soreness in the trapezius muscle and a cervico-thoracic injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Olary was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the right hind medial tibia, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Sir Fancy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right hind foot, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A)  - Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Pollutro, the trainer of Dreamliner regarding the length of time since the greyhound lst raced.  Dreamliner last raced on 12th November, 2017.  Mr. Pollutro stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after an injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Dreamliner trialled over the 395m from box 3, weight 36.1kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 23.42, the greyhound won by a margin of 3 lengths.  Dremliner was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Resuts - Slick Assassian trialled over the 395m from box 1, weight 29.7kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 23.42, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 13.75 lengths.  Slick Assassian was Not Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Casper's Fantasy trialled over the 315m from box 3, weight 28.2kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 19.28, the greyhound was beten by a neck.  Casper's Fantasy was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Braemer Bossy trialled over the 315m from box 6, weight 30.6kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 19.28, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2.50 lengths.  Braemer Bossy was Not Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Vallexia trialled over the 315m from box 7, weight 29.3kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in  field of 4.  The time of the trial was 19.28, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.75 lengths.  Vallexia was Not Cleared.
