Lakeview Maisey, Aston Hinkley and Our Bravo Rose were quick to begin. Our Bravo Rose and Lottie Biscotti collided soon after the start checking Lottie Biscotti. Aston Hinkley and Dr. Mortikye collided approaching the first turn checking Dr. Mortikye. Demand A Panda and Lakeview Maisey collided approaching the first turn checking Lakeview Maisey. Lakeview Maisey and Aston Hinkley collided on the first turn checking Dr. Mortikye and Lottie Biscotti. Perrie The Fairy and Our Bravo Rose collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Lakeview Maisey raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.
Perrie The Fairy was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 11, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Healey, the representative of the greyhound Perrie The Fairy regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Perrie The Fairy with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Healey pleaded guilty to the charge, Perrie The Fairy was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
