A pre-race sample was taken from Cawbourne Mav.
Fancy Talon, Cawbourne Mav and Took My Money were slow to begin and collided approaching the first turn. Little Dynamo and Striking Gold collided on the first turn checking Striking Gold. Striking Gold checked off Riverdale Danger on first turn.
Striking Gold was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle and right groin injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
MEETING COMMENTS:
Satisfactory Trial Results (Cramp) - Kouta And Cream trialled over the 400mtrs from box 1, weight 27.0kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.60, the greyhound won by a margin of 3 1/2 lengths. Kouta And Cream was Cleared.
