Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Fisher, the trainer of Ram Rider regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Ram Rider last raced on 30th September, 2017. Mr. Fisher stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after an extended spell.
A pre-race sample was taken from Thomeli Tash.
Ace Cruising was quick to begin. Communique and Ram Rider were slow to begin. Thomeli Tash checked off Ima Maldini soon after the start. Mrs. Hardwicke and Ima Maldini collided soon after the start. Mrs. Hardwicke and Communique collided approaching the first turn. Ace Cruising and Ima Maldini collided approaching the home turn, checking Ima Maldini. Ima Maldini and Ram Rider collided on the home turn, checking Ima Maldini and Communique. Communique and Mrs. Hardwicke collided entering the home straight. Ram Rider raced wide in the home straight.
