Oshkosh Expert and Dyna Carnie collided soon after the start. Hot Tip and Carla Zeus collided soon after the start. Verne Allen and Oshkosh Expert collided on the first turn. Oshkosh Expert and Oshkosh Uni Chet collided on the first turn. Oshkosh Uni Chet and Hot Tip collided entering the front straight. Oshkosh Expert, Oshkosh Uni Chet, Hot Tip and Carla Zeus collided on the second turn checking all four greyhounds. Carla Zeus, Hot Tip and Oshkosh Uni Chet collided approaching the third turn checking all three greyhounds. Oshkosh Uni Chet brushed the rail on the third turn.
