Steward's Report
Scot's Dunker, Barnie's Blaster, Sunningdale and Slipaway Anna collided approaching the first turn, checking Sunningdale, Barnie's Blaster and Platinum Osti, and severely checking Slipaway Anna which fell as a result. Scot's Dunker and Winlock Rose collided approaching the home turn. Sunningdale checked off Tom's Gift on the home turn.
Slipaway Anna was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle. A ten-day stand down period was imposed.
MEETING COMMENTS
Satisfactory Trial Results - Krazy Jane trialled over the 390m from box one, weight 26.5kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of six. The time of the trial was 23.11, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 0.75L. Krazy Jane was cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Unique Serena trialled over the 390m from box eight, weight 30.2kg, the greyhound was placed sixth in a field of six. The time of the trial was 23.11, the greyhound was not cleared. The greyhound faltered on the first turn and tailed off, and was subsequently vetted following the trial. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Tantalise trialled over the 450m from box one, weight 26.8kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of five. The time of the trial was 25.70, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2L. Tantalise was cleared.
