Steward's Report
An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Rancette, engaged in this event on 1st March 2018, pursuant to GAR 79A.
Alotta Talk was a late scratching at 6:23pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to split webbing to the left hindleg. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Boomer Blitz was slow to begin. Dyna Xerox and Racey Rose collided soon after the start, and again approaching the first turn, checking Dyna Xerox. Rancette checked off Zip Zip Anna on the first turn and collided heavily with Rancette and Boomer Blitz, causing Rancette to lose considerable ground and Zip Zip Anna to fall. Dyna Xeroz checked off Boomer Blitz on the first turn. Racey Rose and Placid Murphy collided approaching the home turn. Boomer Blitz checked off Racey Rose on the home turn, checking Placid Murphy.
Zip Zip Anna was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Rancette was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
