An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Zenstar, engaged in this event, on 26 February 2018 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Stewards spoke to Mr Jeffrey Britton, the trainer of Tilly Rocks, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Tilly Rocks last raced on 9th November 2018. Mr Britton stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a hock injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Tilly Rocks.
Blue Magnum was slow to begin.
Zenstar shifted in soon after the start, checking Blitzen Bell, Rocket Riley and Tilly Rocks. Blitzen Bell, Rocket Riley, Tilly Rocks and Blue Magnum collided on the first turn, checking Blitzen Bell, Rocket Riley and Tilly Rocks. Blue Magnum and Bush Princess collided on the first turn, checking Bush Princess.
