A pre-race sample was taken from Blue Blitz.
Subscapularis was slow to begin.
Go Didda Go and Made First collided approaching the first turn checking Made First. Hector Cabang and Supraspinatus collided on the first turn checking Supraspinatus. Subscapularis and Vanda Mick collided on the home turn checking Vanda Mick.
Stewards spoke with Mr. D. Williams trainer of Go Didda Go, regarding his failure to follow the Starters instructions. Mr. Williams stated he didn't hear the instuctions clearly. Stewards issued a warning to Mr. Williams and suggested he pay closer attention to the Starter in future.
