Marlow's Angel and What Planet collided soon after the start checking What Planet. Marlow's Angel and Amigo Two collided on the first turn checking Amgo Two and Sudoku Flash. Clover Lad and Malow's Angel collided approaching the home turn checking Marlow's Angel. Meehan Blue and Vanderville collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Clover Lad and Vanderville collided on the home turn. Marlow's Angel and Vanderville collided on the home turn. Right Now raced wide on the home turn. Amigo Two eased in the home straight.
Clover Lad was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apprent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Caulfield, the tainer of the greyhound Amigo Two regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Amigo Two was vetted following race 10 It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right monkey muscle and left back muscle and left groin, a 21 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Amigo Two with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Caulfield pleaded guilty to the charge, Amigo Two was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
