A pre-race sample upon arrival on course was taken from Light The Track.
A pre-race sample was taken from Flash Apollo.
Jebreco Surprise was slow to begin. Flash Apollo, Blue Magoo and Detroit Wally collided soon after the start. Blue Magoo and Detroit Wally collided on the first turn causing Blue Magoo to collide with Flash Apollo. Blue Magoo was checked off Vis Vitae on the fourth turn. Mahi Indian tired over the concluding stages of the event.
Mahi Indian was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
A sample was taken from Our Delta Rose - winner of the event and Vis Vitae - third placegetter in the event.
