Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Peter Craig, the trainer of Fair Of Face, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Fair Of Face last raced on 9 November 2017. Mr Craig stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a torn left bicep muscle.
Mrs Helen Eyles, trainer of Kraken Mazing, declared a new weight of 26.0 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Krakemn Mazing last raced at 27.8 kgs.
A pre-race sample was taken from Sudoku Mercedes.
So Fine was quick to begin. Cavalry Rose and Fair Of Face collided soon after the start. Fair Of Face checked off the heels of Kraken Mazing approaching the first turn. Sudoku Mercedes checked off the heels of So Fine on the first turn. Cavalry Rose and Fair Of Face raced wide approaching the home turn. Sudoku Mercedes raced wide on the home turn. Fair Of Face and Kraken Mazing collided in the home straight.
