Bronelly Jet, Mepunga Gal, Outshined and Tornado Tears were slow to begin.  Flash Apollo, Zipping Nitro, Destini Montana, Destini Rocket, Outshined and Tornado Tears collided on the first turn, checking Zipping Nitro, Destini Montana, Outshined, Destini Rocket and Tornado Tears.  Tornado Tears checked off Destini Rocket in the front straight.  Mepunga Gal checked off Flash Apollo on the fourth turn.  Destini Montana tired over the concluding stages.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Right On Cue trialled over the 515m from box one, weight 27.5 kgs, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 29.75, the greyhound won by a margin of 2.25 lengths.  Right On Cue was Cleared.
