Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Ms Tricia Curtain, the trainer of Kauai, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Kauai last raced on 7 August 2017. Ms Curtian stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a fractured left leg. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Kauai trialled over the 350m from box one, weight 28.7kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 19.61, the greyhound won by a margin of 5.75L. Kauai was cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Kynan's Revenge trialled over the 350m from box four, weight 34.7kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of four. The time of the trial was 19.61, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 42L. Kynan's Revenge was not cleared. Kynan's Revenge faltered in running and was vetted following the trial. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.
