Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Alfred Barbara, the trainer of Alpha Nyx, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Alpha Nyx last raced on 26th September, 2017. Mr Barbara stated that the greyhound was new to the kennel and had been on season.
A pre-race sample was taken from Standing Bear.
Dig Deep Bert was quick to begin.
Hold On Belena and Fab Dream collided soon after the start. Lee I Am and Standing Bear collided approaching the first turn. Game Spirit and Alpha Nyx collided approaching the home turn, checking Alpha Nyx. Game Spirit checked off Fab Dream on the home turn and raced wide as a result. Fab Dream raced wide in the home straight.
