Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr H.Wilkinson trainer of Bloke's Advice regarding the length of time the greyhound had between races. Bloke's Advice last raced on 8 October 2017. Mr Wilkinson stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a change of kennel.
Ms V.Cotton, the handler of Big Boy Buzz declared a new weight of 39.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Big Boy Buzz last raced at 40.9kg.
A pre race sample was taken from Proven Mystery.
Eminence was slow to begin. Proven Mystery and Mepunga Reign collided soon after the start. Big Boy Buzz and Terry Towelling collided approaching the first turn, checking Big Boy Buzz. Terry Towelling and Inga Tom collided on the first turn. Big Boy Buzz galloped on the heels of Inga Tom on the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Bloke's Advice and Mepunga Reign collided entering the home straight.
Steward’s issued a warning to Mr. J. Stavropoulos, trainer of Proven Mystery, when he failed to provide a catcher for his greyhound.
