Ava's Dream checked off Triceps Brachii soon after the start.  Belron Bliss and Catcha Nugget collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Catcha Nugget crossed out on the first turn checking Belron Bliss. Catcha Nugget galloped on Belron Bliss approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds.  So Easy, Proving Ground and Belron Bliss raced wide in the home straight.

Val's Legend was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Blazing Major, Slick Slicker and Goldie's Nugget were quick to begin.

Stewards spoke to Mr W. Bickerton, the trainer of En Cockatoo regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. En Cockatoo last raced on22nd June, 2017.Mr Bickerton stated that the greyhound was returning from a fractured right hock injury.

Mr R. Boehm, trainer of Lucas The Great declared a new weight of 31.9kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Lucas The Great last raced at 33.1kgs.

Champagne Luxe and Yanly Bale were quick to begin and collided soon after the start.  Ballistic Gem galloped on Yanly Bale on the first turn, Yanly Bale faltered and tailed off.  Champagne Luxe and Ballistic Gem collided in the home straight.

Yanly Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right fractured hock, and was humanely euthanised.

This event was delayed by approxamitely 1 min due to the Veterinary attending to an injuried greyhound.

Invictus Cindy and Dyna Carver were quick to begin.

Speedway Miss and Smart Bella collided several times approaching the first turn checking Speedway Miss.  Speedway Miss lost ground on the first turn and tailed off.  Bob's Cash checked off Fernando Stealth on the home turn

Jessie Fernando was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Speedway Miss was vetted and re-vetted following event 11.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr Josh Formosa, the handler of the greyhound Speedway Miss.  Stewards deemed the performance of Speedway Miss unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Speedway Miss must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Runnin' Chapta and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 11.26am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Miss B. Berry was fined the sum of $100.
