Minnesota Lee, Telefork and Fonty Allen collided approaching the first turn. Telefork checked off Fonty Allen on the first turn. Liberty Diamond, Lottie Glenda and Minnesota Lee collided approaching the home turn severely checking Lottie Glenda and Minnesota Lee. Watch Me Wyn checked off Manzeene Magic on the home turn. Lottie Glenda, Watch Me Wyn and Gomez Sanchez raced wide in the home straight.
Minnesota Lee was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right monkey muscle and left saddle muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
