Far Welsh checked off Dyna Fable soon after the start. Sweet Emma checked off Koitsenko soon after the start. Far Welsh checked off Sweet Emma approaching the first turn. Xera Bale brushed the running rail approaching the first turn. Dyna Zad checked off Doorkeeper entering the home straight, checking Koitsenko, No More and Dyna Fable. Far Welsh raced wide entering the home straight. Koitsenko and No More collided in the home straight.
Far Welsh was vetted following the event and revetted following event six. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. S. Coulson, the handler of Far Welsh regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn, and again entering the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr, S. Coulson, the handler of the greyhound Far Welsh. Taking into consideration the greyhound was having it's first race start, Stewards deemed the performance of Far Welsh unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Far Welsh must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
