Aston Philou was quick to begin.  Aston Philou crossed to the inside after the start and collided with Brienne and Tiggerlong Boo.  Tiggerlong Boo checked off Super Smarty soon after the start.  Brienne and Kiera Bale collided soon after the start, checking Brienne.  Super Smarty checked off Jazzy Bale on the first turn. Stewards issued a warning to Renee New for failing to correctly engage a catcher for Kiera Bale in this event.

Showtime Mystery was quick to begin.  Colluding galloped on the heels of Showtime Mystery on the first turn, checking Expecto Patronum, James Beat Fed, Riverdale Sugar and Quen Bale; Quen Bale fell as a result.

Quen Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained left and right foreleg wrist and left hindleg hamstring injuries, a seven day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to club employee Jack Hazelman following the event and reminded him of his responsibilities when operating the run back gate. The matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration.
