Lorian Victory and Spotted Label were slow to begin. Louie Allen and Turbo Tom collided soon after the start. Eltora, Louie Allen and Turbo Tom collided approaching the first turn, checking all three greyhounds. Eltora checked off Louie Allen on the first turn, checking Lorian Victory. Flying Sparkles and Turbo Tom collided entering the home straight. Eltora raced wide in the home straight.
Turbo Tom was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
