Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr D.Kenneally, the trainer of Mahjong Prince regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Mahjong Prince last competed in a satisfactory trial on 2 May 2017. Mr Kenneally stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after suffering a twisted bowel.
Stewards spoke to Mr A.Norris, the trainer of Dashing Dino regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Dashing Dino last raced on 25 May 2017. Mr Norris stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a broken left fibula.
Ace Ventura crossed to the outside soon after the start, checking Doorkeeper, Little Loony, Pandora's Proof and Far Sighted. Mahjong Prince and Illy Bale collided approaching the first turn. Mahjong Prince, Illy Bale and Little Loony collided on the first turn, checking Illy Bale and Little Loony. Doorkeeper checked off Ace Ventura in the home straight.
