Our Flying Laura, Crackerjack Kack, My Name's David, El Grand Knocka, Winey Bago and Duff Bale collided on the first turn checking Our Flying Laura, Crackerjack Kack, My Name's David, El Grand Knocka and Winey Bago. Dyna Willem and My Name's David collided on the second turn checking Dyna Willem. Dyna Willem lost ground approaching the home turn and on the home turn.
Dyna Willem was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Grand Maximus was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right shoulder and chest. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. S. Donlon, the representative of the greyhound Dyna Willem. Stewards deemed the performance of Dyna Willem unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Dyna Willem must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
