Blue Espearance was slow to begin.
Jacko Day, Perfect Nature and Cloverlay collided soon after the start checking Perfect Nature.
Good Golly Wally, Perfect Nature and Blue Espearance collided approaching the first turn severely checking Blue Espearance. Subconscious galloped on the heels of Anita's Girl on the first turn, Anita's Girl fell as a result checking Perfect Nature and Just Add Colour.
Blue Espearance was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left forearm. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.
Subconscious was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
