Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Little Jebrynah.
Mac was slow to begin.
Tinderella crossed in approaching the first turn checking Two Dollar Pots and Hi Ho Geronimo. Little Jebrynah, Jesse's Typhoon and Taabinga Flash collided entering the back straight checking Hi Ho Geronimo and Jesse's Typhoon. Mac galloped on Tinderella on the second turn checking Tinderella. Tinderella lost ground approaching the third turn. Mac lost ground approaching the winning post.
Mac was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Tinderella was vetted and re-vetted following event 8. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr C. Fulford the trainer of Tinderella regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the third turn. Mr Fulford stated he believed the interference the greyhound suffered approaching the third turn when it was galloped on caused the greyhounds poor performance. Steward noted Mr Fulford’s explanation and took no further action against the greyhound.
