Clyde's Classy, Why Not Lola and Little Juzzy collided on the first turn checking Clyde's Classy.  Why Not Lola, Little Juzzy and Penny Mikado collided approaching the home turn checking Clyde's Classy and Little Juzzy.  Beanology and Why Not Lola collided on the home turn.  Clyde's Classy eased approaching the winning post and collided with Why Not Lola.

Clyde's Classy was vetted and re-vetted following event 6.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr D. Johnston, the trainer of the greyhound Clyde's Classy regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Clyde's Classy with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Johnston pleaded guilty to the charge, Clyde's Classy was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Alexagal and Spring Lass were slow to begin.

Loadstar and Midgey collided on the first turn Loadstar, Midgey and Allen Zero collided entering the back straight checking Midgey, Allen Zero and Heard A Rumour.  Midgey and Heard A Rumour collided on the second turn checking Midgey and Allen Zero, Midgey brushed the running rail.  Spring Lass checked off Loadstar approaching the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Ms M. Payne, the trainer of Zipping Bob regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Zipping Bob last raced on 10th July 207, Ms Payne stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from a change of kennels.

Following this event Judges were unable to semaphore the dead heat between Why Not Macca and Go Go Pipsqueak. The TAB were subsequently informed of the dead heat before the All Clear was given.

Mint Boy and Denied Justice collided approaching the first turn.  Woofenden and Willy Mays Hayes collided on the first turn.  Willy Mays Hayes checked off Meteor Thunder on the first turn.  Cosmic Fox checked off Meteor Thunder approaching the home turn checking Denied Justice.

Tinderella crossed in approaching the first turn checking Two Dollar Pots and Hi Ho Geronimo.  Little Jebrynah, Jesse's Typhoon and Taabinga Flash collided entering the back straight checking Hi Ho Geronimo and Jesse's Typhoon.  Mac galloped on Tinderella on the second turn checking Tinderella.  Tinderella lost ground approaching the third turn.  Mac lost ground approaching the winning post.

Mac was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Tinderella was vetted and re-vetted following event 8. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr C. Fulford the trainer of Tinderella regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the third turn. Mr Fulford stated he believed the interference the greyhound suffered approaching the third turn when it was galloped on caused the greyhounds poor performance.  Steward noted Mr Fulford’s explanation and took no further action against the greyhound.

Adala Son was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustaine a right metacarpal fracture, a 60 stand down period was imposed.
