Cullquin Jethro was slow to begin. Mia Brae, Dark Taboo, Bye All, Aeroplane Hank and Miss Peanut collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Peanut and Aeroplane Hawk. Dyna Zad, Dark Taboo and Bye All collided on the first turn checking Bye All and Dark Taboo. Aeroplane Hank, Dark Taboo and Cullquin Jethro collided approaching the home turn checking all three greyhounds.
