Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Red Octane earlier today pursuant to GAR 79A.
Aoife and Conjurer were slow to begin. Tucky's Daughter and Aoife collided soon after the start. Red Octane, Don One and Galloping Tina collided approaching the first turn checking Don One and Galloping Tina. Red Octane and Aoife collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds, causing both greyhounds to race wide. Don One, Galloping Tina and Conjurer collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Red Octane and Aoife collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds causing both greyhounds to race wide. Galloping Tina and Conjurer collided in the back straight checking Conjurer. Red Octane raced wide on the third turn and on the home turn. Aoife and Torh Minter collided approaching the winning post.
Aoife was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
A sample was taken from Don One - winner of the event.
